The seminar was opened by Mike Gibbons, Lead Director of the DfES Innovation Unit. TLRP Director, Andrew Pollard gave the introduction and at the end of the day, closed the seminar with a round-up of issues for research and policy.Other contributors included, Deputy Director of TLRP, Mary James, Professors Sally Brown, Carol McGuinness, Anne Edwards, and David James along with Dr Gordon Stobart.Discussion points included: What is meant by learning in different sectors; conceptions of learning and outcomes in different sectors; how can learning outcomes by captured and how can learning outcomes be enhanced'.
