'Mens' Awards for Physical Education and Handicrafts' - correspondence from E L Bradby, Principal of Saint Paul's College, Cheltenham regarding the discussions of a small group organised to discuss the types of awards received by specialist male teachers in the areas of physical education and handicrafts; with notes of the meetings held

'Teaching Practice and Expansion' - Correspondence with Stephen Wiseman, Director of the School of Education at the University, Manchester, Professor Brian Stanley, Director of the University of Newcastle, Institute of Education regarding the number of student placements required in local schools in light of the expansion of student numbers. 'Places available on courses in France for training college students' - correspondence with the Ministry of Education regarding the 'inconsistency' of the Ministry's policy on providing courses in France for students training to teach in secondary schools but not for primary schools, even though the Ministry proposed French should also be taught in primary schools

'Institute Librarians' Pamphlet' - correspondence with Mr Freeman, Librarian at the University of Hull regarding a pamphlet he had written on resources available for teachers at Institutes of Education
