Deputation made by representatives from CID, the Conference of Heads of University Departments of Education (CHUDE) and the Association of Teachers in Colleges and Departments of Education (ATCDE) to the Department of Education and Science (DES) where they met MPs Anthony Crosland, Secretary of State for Education and Science and Reginald Prentice. The meeting was held to discuss the validation of teacher training courses at technical colleges
Correspondence between Directors of the Institutes of Education regarding the recommendations of the Robbins Committee and the subsequent establishment of the CNAA including a record of a meeting with Sir Herbert Andrew and Toby Weaver regarding the establishment of a binary system of higher education and a letter from Robin Pedley, Director of the University of Exeter Institute of Education to Prime Minster Harold Wilson voicing his opposition to such a system
