Description | Comprises responses to a questionnaire circulated by CHUDE to University Departments of Education (UDEs) on curriculum provision. The survey was carried out after CHUDE and the Conference of Institute Directors (CID) were asked by the Schools Council to compile a list of activities in existence or planned for the following academic year (1966/1967) which could be regarded as curriculum development or in-service training courses. In particular they were interested in training being provided in relation to the raising of the school leaving age.

Replies to the questionnaire generally list 'courses not leading to qualifications', 'these or dissertations on curriculum or subject syllabuses', 'individual work by members of staff in the field of curriculum study or subject syllabuses', 'curriculum research projects', courses and proposed courses, 'courses leading to qualifications' and 'curriculum development projects'
