Description	Comprises correspondence and papers regarding the annual residential conference held in Liverpool in November 1974. The theme of the conference sought to build on the discussions of the 1973 conference which had focussed on the future development of education studies in universities. At the 1974 conference UCET planned to take discussion forward by looking at the work of other organisations such as polytechnics, local education authorities (LEAs) and the Council of National Academic Awards (CNAA). The overarching theme was 'partnership in teacher education' with separate groups focussing on: realtionships with colleges; the PGCE; Inservice work and research and development over the nest ten years.
