Title	'Film Library for Teacher Education'

Description	The Film Library for Teacher Education was established in 1972 by the Association of Teachers in Colleges and Departments of Education (ATCDE) and UCET as a specialist library for use only by Colleges and Departments of Education. It was operated by the Educational FOundation for Visual Aids from the National Audio Visual Aids Library in London. The library went into receivership in 1987 and was closed 31st December 1987 and the last meeting of the Management Committee was held in March 1988. The library's collections held at Bangor were transferred to the University of York Audio Visual Centre. The collections held in the library were made available for sale to the library's members and non-members. The file comprises papers regarding the work of the library including: Progress reports on the work of the library Minutes of meetings of the Film Selection Sub-Committee and the Film Library Management Committee Financial accounts Catalogues for the library Papers for Annual General Meetings including minutes and Chairman's reports Papers regarding the establishment of the film library including minutes of a meeting at the Department of Education and Science (DES) to discuss the proposal Terms of reference for the library Leaflets for the Library
