| Description | Comprises papers regarding the working of a UCET/ Association of Teachers in Colleges and Departments of Education (ATCDE) joint working party on 'the nature and effectiveness of curriculum courses' (being those sourses that contribute directly to teaching performances in the classroom). The working party was set up in 1969 by the Joint UCET/ATCDE Research Committee to consider how to promote education research into the content of the curriculum courses of individual colleges of education. The proposed research projects would be funded by the Department of Education and Science (DES) and Local Educational Authorities (LEAs). The file includes:
