Description	Comprises agendas, minutes, papers and correspondence regarding meetings of the committee from November 1967 to October 1968. The committee met to deal with all matters concerning in-service courses for teachers other than courses for named awards, including liaison with the Schools Council, the Department of Education and Science and other bodies concerned with such courses. Most of the file comprises papers on the approval of courses from individual Institutes of Education. Also includes papers regarding: LISE (Librarians of Institutes and Schools of Education) including a survey conducted by the group on library services at different institutions Annual reports regarding Advanced Level examinations by individual subject Using films for teacher training purposes
