Description	Comprises agendas, minutes, papers and correspondence regarding meetings of the committee held May and November 1985. The committee met to deal with all matters concerning in-service courses for teachers other than courses for named awards, including liaison with the Schools Council, the Department of Education and Science and other bodies concerned with such courses. Includes papers on: UCET annual conference on 'present issues in teacher education' Department of Education and Science (DES) papers on 'the curriculum from 5 to 16' and specific grant arrangements for inservice education and training with responses by UCET UCET comments on DES statistics for INSET long courses 1983-1984 After this point Standing Committees C and D joined to become Standing Committee C/D.
