| AdminHistory | The first meeting of the Staff/Student Consultative Committee was held on 29 April 1968. Its purpose was 'to discuss any matters of concern to the students, particularly on academic matters, and to make recommendations to the Slade Professor'. It was agreed that half the members should be staff and half students, and that half the students should be undergraduates and half postgraduates. Later that year the Committee became known simply as the Staff/Student Committee.
Attendees at the first meeting were Bernard Cohen, Patrick George, Maggi Hambling, Phil Harrison, Ian Tregarthen Jenkins, Paul Martin, Peter Thomas and William Townsend. |
