Description | Correspondence between Ethel Froud (NUWT General Secretary), A. Muriel Pierotti (NUWt), NUWT members including Miss H. R. Walmesley, and Sir Fred Clarke regarding an Educational Conference organised by the NUWT on 6 May 1939 at University College, London. The conference had two strands - the Spens Report and Rural Education. In the morning session Sir Fred Clarke gave a speech on 'Secondary Education and the Future' (the Spens Report).
