Description | Correspondence between Ethel Froud (NUWT), NUWT members in the Rhondda district, the Rhondda Urban District Council Education Committee, Members of Parliament, and T. Lamartine Yates Solicitors regarding: A Resolution passed by Rhondda Education Authority which stated that no teach could be employed in the district unless they were a member of the NUT Enquiries and concerns raised by NUWT members in the district about the safety of their jobs Letters from the NUWT to the Board of Education and Members of Parliament protesting against this Resolution The use of this Resolution by the NUT as a tactic to get women to leave the NUWT and rejoin the NUT The new Burnham Scales, 1925, and renewed attempts to impose the Resolution that teachers have to be members of the NUT NUWT actions on the notices of dismissal served on teachers in Rhondda who were not members of the NUT
