Newsletters published by the Women's Bureau of the U.S. Department of Labor. These seem to have been published monthly and most months from January 1937 to October 1937 have a newsletter, although it jumps from November 1928 to November 1929. These generally include a contents page followed by reports on a variety of subjects related to women and work including: Minimum wage and earning of women workers Reports into labor legislation and its effect on employment conditions of working women Hours of work and other working conditions Industrial hazards affecting women Recent publications of the Women's Bureau Other publications of interest to women Employment and working conditions of women abroad Women in trade unions Conferences of interest to working women Social insurance and pensions
Enquiry from the Social Services and Publications Division of the Women's Bureau asking if the NUWT would still like to continue receiving the newsletters from the Bureau. Reply from the NUWT confirming they would like to continue receiving the mailings. 1957 |
