Description | Correspondence between A. Muriel Pierotti (NUWT), Florency Key (NUWT), the No Conscription Council, the Society of Friends, regarding conscription and National Service of men and women. The NUWT believed that if women were to be conscripted there would have to be equality with men in the terms and conditions of their employment. They were also very concerned with the effect of conscription on young people.
