Description | Correspondence between A. Muriel Pierotti (NUWT), NUWT members, and various Local Education Committees regarding arrangements for teachers to take their holidays following the outbreak of war. The NUWT sent a statement to the Board of Education deploring the disparity in holiday arrangements throughout schools in England and Wales and requesting the Board of Education issue definite guidelines on minimum holiday periods for teachers and pupils.
