DescriptionCorrespondence between the International Headquarters of the Fellowship and members of the Fellowship based in Poland, 1945-1949 and 1960-1969, including letters regarding attempts to revive the Polish Section and acquire educational books for the surviving members; post-war educational reconstruction of the country; and the Section's opinion of the policy of the Fellowship after World War Two. The later correspondence largely comprises enquiries for information on the Fellowship from Poland. Also includes a copy of 'Biuletyn Sekcji Polskiej Miedzynarodowej Ligi Nowego Wychowania', 1932, No. 2; paper on the Polish Institute of Social Service, [1946]; a report on the children held in Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp by Seweryna Szmaglewaka; and a translated exert regarding famine in Poland from a report 'Die Bedeutung des Polen-Problems für die Rüstungswirtschaft Oberschlesiens' by the Oberschlesisches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, 1945.
