| Description | Papers regarding a experimental two day conference arranged by the New Education Fellowship with the Tavistock Institute on 'Human Relations on Human Factors in the School Situation' held in Apr 1948 at the Tavistock Institute. The conference had no rigid agenda, and the delegates were split up into groups and asked to discuss the suggested questions or any other subjects they wished to discuss around the general topic. At the end of each day the groups would report back their findings to the other delegates. Papers include correspondence regarding arrangements for the conference; pre-conference bulletin containing the suggested questions; programme; abstracts from advisors' talks; accounts; press cuttings; and post-conference bulletin, summarising the out comes of the conference. |
