| AdminHistory | The New Education Book Club was established in 1947. Subscribers were sent three books a year published by the Fellowship through William Heinemann Ltd. All profits from subscriptions were put towards the international work of the fellowship. The first book published was 'Education for Sanity by W B Curry' in 1947. Only the first 5 books were published by under the name of 'New Education Book Club' and from 1948 the books were published as the Heinemann Education Series with special dust covers for the members of the book club. It appears no additional books were published after 1958, though Heinemann continued to print additional editions of the books for which the Fellowship received royalties. |
