TitleFour Essays and Reviews
Date1970s-1980s
DescriptionFour files of essays and reviews by Wollheim with notes from Malcolm Budd on the covers. Contains the following

Photocopy of a typescript with manuscript annotations. Identified by a note from Malcolm Budd as a review of 3 books, not published by the New York Review of Books, possibly due to Wollheim's resistance to the editorial comments. Original folder marked "Review Danto / Krauss". Probably Arthur Danto "The Philosophical Disenfranchisement of Art" and "The State of the Arts", and Rosalind E Krauss "The Originality of the Avant-Garde and Other Modernist Myths". 1980s?
Manuscript draft of an obituary by Wollheim for Ben Nicholson. 1982?

Typescripts of two essays by Wollheim titled "Freud and Femininity", and "Recollection, Repetition and Working Through in Freud". A note from Budd suggests they may have been published in the International Journal of Psychoanalysis c1978, but this is not apparent. 1970s?

Photocopy of a manuscript by Wollheim intended for publication in a festschrift for Michael Jaff. Note from Budd indicates that it was not published. 1980s?
