| AdminHistory | The Global Teacher Project worked with a number of Higher Education Insitutions to incorporate a global dimension into the teaching practice of student teachers. As part of initial teacher education, student teachers worked closely with practising teachers in schools - teacher mentors - who participated in the students' training.
Students interested in incorporating global education into their teaching practice enrolled with the Project. Their practice schools were then invited to take part. Students and their mentors attended a 1-day training session at the beginning of their practice and another half-day evaluation session at the end. The project then provided ongoing support, advice and resources. |
