| Description | Papers of Supporters’ Councils of the Woodcraft Folk, accumulated by Gilbert Begbie, National Secretary of the National Federation of Woodcraft Folk Supporters’ Councils from the 1940s until 1983. These papers consist of: drafts of their constitution; minutes of the Federation’s Annual Delegate Conferences (ADCs); Supporters’ Council newsletters; annual reports of the Federation; memos and circulars; membership cards; papers regarding the disbanding of the Supports’ Councils in 1983; and reports of regional groups for their 1957 ADC.
There is also a small folder of papers of the Bristol Supports’ Council, including annual reports, circulars, and a ‘Souvenir Programme’ booklet for the 1951 Festival Folk Week. |
