Description	The booklet was published to accompany the television series 'State of Play', first broadcast from 12 January to 15 March 1976 on BBC2. The series formed part of the BBC's in-service education project primarily for teachers but also play leaders, nursery nurses and anybody concerned with young children in settings other than the home. The series was produced by Roger Owen. Annotated by Amelia Fysh Also includes two newspaper articles on the impact of government spending on education on the provision of nursery education (pasted on the inside front cover)
