AdminHistoryThe school was first founded in Cardiff by the Drapers' Company in 1860 by the bequest of Thomas Howell, who in 1587 had left money to the Drapers' Company to provide doweries 'every yere for Maydens for ever'. The School joined the trust in 1980 but was administered as a separate charity.
