| Description | Papers regarding the Inter-school prizes initially awarded to pupils, from specific Trust schools each year in the order in which they were founded, who were going on to teacher training colleges. Many schools did not have any suitable applicants and referred their recommendation. In 1982 the regulations were changed and the award was opened to all Trust schools and the three pupils were chosen by the Friends of the Trust on the recommendation of the head mistresses.
Includes:
1) General correspondence, 1966-1982, including a list of the dates individual schools were awarded the grant; creation of regulations and later revisions. All administritive papers are closed for 30 years.
2) Papers regarding pupils who were awarded the award, 1967-1987.Closed for 80 years under the Data Protection Act (1998) |
