AdminHistory | The Finance and Buildings Committee was constituted at the meeting of the Committee of Management held on 23 January 1975 with the following terms of reference: to consider and report on matters relating to the overall financial policy of the Institute; to consider estimates and accounts and make recommendations thereon to the Committee of Management; to keep under review matters relating to the Institute's buildings; and to be responsible for the administration of the Institute's Hall of Residence (John Adams Hall) and to consult the House Committee appointed to deal with the day to day affairs of the Hall as necessary. It was replaced by the Finance and General Purposes Committee in 1987. Membership consisted of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Committee of Management, the Director, Deputy Director and four (later increased to six) other members. |
