TitleUniversity of London Institute of Education Students' Association (ULIESA)
Date1948-1979
DescriptionThe University of London Institute of Education Students' Association (ULIESA) was originally set up as ULESA (University of London Education Students' Association) in 1951 though the papers suggest that the acronym ULIESA was used almost straight away. It was presided over by a Council which met once a year, and, to which an Executive Committee and a Finance Committee both reported.

Its purpose was to 'promote the corporate life of students of the University of London Institute of Education,...to make representations to the Council of the Institute on any matter relating to student life in the Institute; to foster good relations between students of the Institute and other students...; and generally to further the interests of students.' Under the constitution, the Students' Union was named as a Member Organisation of the Association.
