AdminHistory | Malangali School was set up as a ‘normal government central school’ in the Iringa Province of Tanganyika (now Tanzania). Mumford became headmaster of the school in 1927 and served as a Superintendent of Education in the territory for 3 years. He later joined the Institute of Education as 'Lecturer in Comparative Education of Primitive Peoples' (1933-40) and then Head of the 'Colonial Department' (1934-44), before joining the United Nations in 1945 |
