| Description | 1. Black and white mounted group photograph of the staff and students of the IOE Colonial Department 1951-52. Four rows are standing, two rows are seated in front. The photo has been taken outside Senate House. The reverse of the photo states only details for re-ordering copies of the photograph.
2. This is the same group as above. The photograph also has small tears and creases in several places. Written in blue pen at the bottom of the photograph is stated: Colonial Department, Univ. of London Institute of Education Course 1951-52. The reverse states U.F. Gilbert in pencil, plus the names and addresses of ten people to be forwarded a copy of the photograph, one in pencil, nine in blue pen.
