AdminHistoryThe Economic Awareness Teacher Training Programme (EcATT) was based at the Institute of Education University of London and the Department of Education, University of Manchester. It aimed to meet the long-term training needs of teachers, loccal authority coordinators, advisory teachers, and others involved in the implementation of economic awareness programmes in schools and colleges. It was a partnership between industry and commerce, Local Education Authorities (LEAs), central government and higher education and was funded by The Banking Information Service, British Petroleum plc (BP), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Education and Science (DES), Manpower Services Commission (MSC), Unilver plc and the University Grants Committee (UGC).
