Description	Nos. 1-1157 of the internal news letter of the Institute which is published every Thursday to publicise details of events in or connected to the Institute during each week of the academic year from 1976. It was sent to all the departments for staff and students. It also contains information on staff appointments and posts; accommodation wanted or available; press notices; and other notices. From 1991-1993 published 'out of term' issues during the summer. In Jan 1994 the new letter was redesigned and continued to publish news letters fortnightly during the winter, spring and summer breaks. From 1997 the news letter was also issued on the Institute's web site and was published in portable document format on the web from 2005. In 2007 the news letter was redesigned to concur with the new brand identity of the Institute. The news letters also include some inserted flyers and publicity material. The publication was discontinued in early 2009, but it was planned to continue the newletter in electronic form.
