| AdminHistory | From 1920-1945, the Board of Education Inspectors' Association acted as the staff side of the Association of First Division Civil Servants (FDA). In 1945 the Board changed its name to the Association of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools (England and Wales) (AHMI). In 1973 it amalgamated with the Association of First Division Civil Servants, and thereafter was known as the HMI (Wales and England) Section of the Association of First Division Civil Servants (FDA). |
