AdminHistoryAbraham Wolf was educated at University College London and St John's College Cambridge. He went on to become Professor Emeritus of Logic and Scientific Method in the University of London, which incorporated being Head of the Department of History and Method of Science at University College London (1921-1941), and Head of the Department of Logic and Philosophy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He retired in 1941. He was a member of the Senate and of the Academic and External Councils of the University of London till 1944. Wolf was Co-editor of the 14th edition of the 'Encyclopaedia Britannica'. In his lifetime, he published many books about philosophers, logic and scientific method. He died on 19 May 1948.
