A second draft of C A Clarke's obituary of Penrose, dated 27 June 1972, with letter from Renwick, 28 June 1972, responding to his alterations.
Letter from W Hayes to G Pontecorvo, 19 July 1972, informing him of the Genetical Society's decision not to hold a continuing Memorial Lecture series in honour of Penrose, but to organise a Penrose Memorial Symposium in 1973 which would incorporate a Memorial Lecture.
Letter from Renwick to Clarke, 3 August 1972, about the possibility of setting up a long-term memorial lectureship in Penrose's name in conjunction with various learned scientific societies.
Letter from Clarke to Renwick, 2 July 1980, about compilation of a list of the papers and correspondence of Penrose, and whether he would like a copy.
Letter from Daniel J Kevles to Renwick, 17 February 1984, asking for an interview to discuss genetics and his career, pertaining to Kevles' research for a book on the history of eugenic, human genetics and related subjects in the United States and Britain from the nineteenth century to the present. Encloses photocopy of an article by Kevles on "Genetics in the United States and Great Britain, 1890-1930: A Review with Speculations" in 'Isis', vol. 71, number 3, (September 1980).
