AdminHistoryThis fragment is independent of the chief Middle Dutch poems on the life of Christ, for further explanation see E F Kossmann, "Fragment eines Mittelniederlandischen Leven van Jesus" in 'Frankf Bcherfreund', xiii (1919), p 287. It perhaps belongs to a poem, now lost, which was written before 1340 and was based on a harmony of the gospels composed before 1332. An offprint of Kossman's paper (in German) can be found with the fragment.
