The text is from book 2, chapter 1, and the leaves are numbered 21-14 in red pencil. Paragraph numbers and markers have been inserted in red.

AdminHistoryThe philosopher Rudolf Hermann Lotze was born in Bautzen, Saxony, in 1817. His publications included "Metaphysik" (Leipzig, 1841), and he was the founder of Theistic Idealism. He died in Berlin in 1881.
CustodialHistoryA sheet of paper attached to the fly-leaf records that the fragment was given by Lotze to Professor James Sully, who presented it to Dr Wolf.
