DescriptionLeaf from a copy of the "Liber Sextus Decretalium" or Decretals of Pope Boniface VIII, parchment. Main body text in two columns in a cursive documentary script. Main text in black ink with red and blue decorated capitals, red and blue paragraph marks and red highlights. The text is from the Liber Primus, Title VI: "De Electione et Electi Potestate", with part of chapters VI and VII on the recto and VIII, IX and X on the verso. The leaf has been cut and a portion of text is missing from the left-hand side when viewed from the recto. The leaf is numbered II.I on the recto and II on the verso.
