TitleRitual [Fragment]
Date12th Century?
DescriptionFragment of a bifolium, probably from a ritual book or Rituale Romanum, parchment. Main body text in black ink in a Caroline minuscule with red capitals and rubrics. The text is for the visitation of the sick (visitatio infirmorum). The two leaves of the bifolium are still attached in the centre but have been cut across the top and right-hand side with the loss of a small amount of text from the sides and a more substantial amount of text from the top.
There is an erasure at line 6 on f.1r, which should read "[Ita et] hunc famulum tuum a lecto...". There is a modern pnecil annotation "IH 11" on f.2v.
