| AdminHistory | David Watson was an influential figure in higher education throughout his career. He was Deputy Director of Oxford Polytechnic in the 1980s, Vice Chancellor of the University of Brighton between 1990 and 2005, professor of Higher Education Management at the IOE from 2005 until 2010 and then Principal of Green Templeton College Oxford. He was a member of the Polytechnics and Colleges Funding Council, the Higher Education Funding Council, of the Dearing Review and a board member at the Nuffield Foundation. He died February 2015. |
