Description(Dismounted) scrapbook or scrapbooks containing correspondence, circular appeal letters from the Ladies' Committee, press cuttings, leaflets, appeal notices and programmes relating to the charitable and fund-raising work of the Society on behalf of the various branches of the Hospital, including the Country and Convalescent branch, Finchley. Activities recorded include ftes, soires, grand fancy sales, flower shows and bazaars. The items also relate to fund-raising activities on behalf of certain other institutions and concerns, including the House of Relief for Children with Hip Disease, 19 Queen Square, 1870, the Royal Hospital for Incurables, Putney, and the London Female Preventive & Reformatory Institution, 1872. There is also a copy of the Rules of the Ladies' Samaritan Society 1961 (with amendments and notes from the Secretary from 1968)
