TitleCases and campaigns
Date1940-1964
DescriptionRecords regarding individual cases and disputes that the Trades Advisory Council (TAC) was involved in, along with broader campaigns.

In the text of some of the cases, the TAC describes its aim as 'eliminating friction in industry between Jews and non-Jews'. The TAC acted in the following ways in the cases detailed in this casebook:

- mediated in disputes involving manufacturers, trade associations, customers, and workers;
- intervened where there were instances of antisemitism or discrimination against Jews;
- intervened where there were actions by Jewish businesses or traders which the TAC thought could contribute to the formation of antisemitic attitudes.
