TitleScrapbooks of press cuttings
Date1936-1975
DescriptionLarge scrapbook volumes which have been carefully filled with newspaper cuttings. The majority of the cuttings have been stuck in place and annotated with the date of the article and the name of the newspaper. Most of the cuttings in these scrapbooks are from local newspapers from around the UK, although some are from national newspapers and some are from religious newspapers. The cuttings are mainly focused on the activities of fascist organisations and individuals in the UK, anti-fascist organising, and instances of antisemitism.

These scrapbooks appear to have been put together by Maurice Orbach, General Secretary of the Trades Advisory Council (TAC) from 1940 to 1979.

There are also many collected press cuttings in the 'Fascist activities' files, TAC/7.
