  <dc:description>Large rolled aerial photograph of the school. RAF Laarbruch was positioned on the West Germany/Dutch border and was served by two schools - Rhein Middle School (for pupils aged 9-13 years) and Maas First School (for pupils aged 4-8 years). Maas School had the largest pupil roll of all BFES schools in the 1980s with more than 700 children. At the age of 13 years pupils moved to Kent Secondary School at Hostert.

Donated by David Barton, the last Headteacher of the school.</dc:description>
