Clarke visited Hong Kong to attend the 8th International Conference on Global Impacts of Applied Microbiology, held with the International Conference on Applied Biology and Biotechnology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1-5 August. She spoke on 'New enzymes from bacteria'. Clarke made other visits in Hong Kong on behalf of the British Council and the Royal Society.</dc:description>
