Pauline Meadow (married name Enticknap) held a Beit Fellowship for research with Clarke at UCL 1956-1957. They developed a research group and when her Fellowship ended she was appointed Lecturer. Meadow later became Reader in Biochemistry and Sub-dean of the Medical Faculty.</dc:description>
