Letters to De Beer from Thomas Nelson &amp; Sons Ltd., regarding his financial arrangements upon moving to Switzerland in 1967; his retirement from Thomas Nelson and Sons in 1969; and his appointment as an editorial assistant from May 1969. Other letters are primarily administrative, concerning outstanding contracts for the British Men of Science series; proposed publications; arrangements for printing; and copyright and image permissions. Copies of a number of De Beer's replies are interspersed throughout.</dc:description>
