Further Committees Apart from the Council of Management, there are a number of other Forest School Camps committees the papers of which are catalogued in this series. Each committee is responsible for a different aspect of camp organisation from entertainment and catering to enrolment and finance. As with all organisations, Committees tend to wax and wane and the multplicity is partly caused by a desire to remain entirely voluntary, no Officers have ever received payment. The major functional Officers are, apart from Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, a Staffing Secretary, a Children's Secretary, a Camps Secretary, and, a Storman. All these Officers have supporting Committees or Groups and ther functions come and go depending on necessity. 1947-29 Oct 2003
