Notebooks and Journals Isabel Fry kept detailed journals from 1911 until her death in 1958. Entries were added on an almost daily basis and they include both her innermost thoughts and feelings and her comments on current events, both in her own life and in the wider world. There are two major gaps in the sequence: 1921-1934 and 1936-1940. As well as the main journal sequence, there are partial journal entries from 1882-3 and 1907-8 and some notebooks containing jottings and writings. 1878-1958
