Aug 14 Mrs Robinson's sale for European Children; Manfred and Helmut Aris visited; Aggie Marriot has died.
Aug 15 Gerald Strangeways, talk about 'North Rhodesia' [today part of Zambia], he is to be posted to Hong Kong; visit to Nelsons to meet sister, Mrs Hudleston.
Aug 16 Old Gomme told Fry of his travels showing pedigree cows; Miss B.G advises Fry to spay a cat; Amy Marriott; across the allotments, Fry discussed the 'yellows' and manure; Mr Ing is to give her some sweet pea seed to pass on to an old lady who has asked for it.</dc:description>
