Visual and Audio-Visual Material Contains photographs, art, displays and audio-visual material accumulated by the Galton Laboratory. The photographs in this series are mainly framed portraits of noteworthy scientists or figures related to the history of the laboratory; the artwork is predominantly watercolour illustrations of hereditary conditions affecting animals; the maps and charts show genealogical trees, graphs and the distribution of disease across regions; and the audio-visual material relates to events and research at the Galton Laboratory. 1870-1998
