  <dc:description>Moses Gaster's papers regarding a meeting he presided over, organised by the Federation of Polish Jews in Great Britain. This was a 'Mass Meeting' held at Shoreditch Town Hall, London, 10 June 1937, 'To Protest Against the Barbarous Treatment Jews in Poland; Especially the Recent Pogrom in Bresk-Litovsk'.

These papers are mainly in English, and consist of:
- the correspondence of the Secretary of the Federation (Jack Goldberg) regarding the organising and administration of the meeting;
- statements to be read at the meeting from bishops and notable political figures including David Lloyd George, Clement Attlee, Herbert Dunelm, Josiah C. Wedgwood, and Archibald Sinclair;
- press cuttings (in English and in Yiddish);
- Daily News Bulletins issued by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, regarding acts of antisemitism in Poland;
- printed tickets and flyers for the event;
- list of speeches.
